The Drought and Climate Adaptation Program (DCAP)

The Drought and Climate Adaptation Program (DCAP) aims to help primary producers better manage drought and climate impacts through cutting-edge research, forecast products, tools and extension activities. The program brings together leading climate scientists, government and non-government agencies, producers, and industry leaders to collaborate on innovative research projects and partnerships.

DCAP’s major partners include the Department of Primary Industries (DPI), the Department of Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (DETSI), the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) and Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA).
